Your home is done. Is it working?

AQM is your early warning after handover — get ahead of callbacks, and prove performance to the people who call it home.

You can't see it. It could be costing you.

Reduce risk

Is the basement humidity safe?

At 72% all summer, it's a mold claim. Caught early, it's a dehumidifier — and the next report proves it's working.

Catch it small

Is the ventilation set right for the occupants?

Set too low: high CO₂, poor sleep. The fix is a setting, not a truck roll.

Engage clients

Do your clients know the house is working?

Simple reports, verified performance. The relationship continues — and referrals follow.

See the pattern

Are the systems you specify performing — across every home you've built?

Every home you've handed over, on one screen. What you designed, verified — across the portfolio, not one house at a time.

And when something does come up, you walk in knowing. What’s wrong, what the homeowner is feeling, what it costs to wait, and what your sub needs to bring. Not a $250 visit to find out there’s nothing to find.

Chart 1 — basement humidity, one day, real data from AQM's test house: 75% for days, nobody knew → AQM report: Action → dehumidifier on at 9:15 AM → 54% by 3 PM, verified.
Chart 2 — overnight bedroom CO₂ for a family of three at three ERV settings: 40 CFM as installed (~1,700 ppm) → 55 → 70 CFM, the AQM spec (~950, healthy). Illustrative until measured.

What AQM is, and how it solves this

AQM is a service for builders. We put monitors in the homes you hand over, read what they say against how the house was built and who lives in it, and send you a weekly report: what changed, why, who’s on it. Your homeowner gets a simpler version, under your name.

What the report actually says:

  • Healthy Basement humidity held 48–54% all week. Nothing to do.
  • Watch Basement humidity has sat above 60% for nine days. Consistent with no active dehumidification reaching this space. Low-cost move: a dehumidifier on a humidistat; next report shows if it's enough.
  • Action Overnight CO₂ floor has risen and stayed up since Tuesday. Most likely a boost setting turned off or a filter due. Homeowner checks first; if that's not it, the HVAC tech measures delivered flow against 61 CFM.

One scale for everything we find — Critical · Action · Watch · Note · Healthy. Every action has an owner.

Fifteen years as a HERS rater and Phius verifier. Thousands of homes.

Too many of them with systems that weren’t working as they should. AQM is the building-science answer to that — homes that work as designed.

Credibility assets as they come — builder logos (Oxbow, 377, Red House, East Branch once cleared), the HERS rater network line, a first testimonial. Nothing fabricated; placeholders until real.

The smart home promise should be about the relationship between a building and the people in it — health, comfort, durability and efficiency, not gadgets and convenience. That’s what we’re building.
